Grind and Wine
Grind and Wine Reviews (198)

I visited this black owned restaurant during lunch time. It looks nice inside and very clean. Good music plays in the background. They have several tvs and bar area. Two separate dining areas... I ordered the seafood flatbread. It was delicious. The cheese, sauce, and old bay were perfectly put together. Very flavorful. It was a one serving size meal. If you order it as an appetizer, you can share with one person. Since I came in during a slow period, they only had one person for waitstaff. She was nice. Service was quick even with very little staff. I will return.

Amazing food! Loved the shrimp And grits. Lots of choices. Unique space that works. Lots of regulars but inviting for newcomers.

~ #Vibes ... #Vibes... #Vibes !! .. If I didn't live 35 mins away from this restaurant, I'd be here every day. As soon as I hit the door I was met by an awesome hostess who had such a beautiful aura and supplemented that with great conversation and service. After welcoming me to the restaurant she passes me on to Ms. K who was working behind the bar & we instantly clicked. ( I'm just the great). I started things out with a moon over Manhattan cocktail before I ate. Of course, I always order the shrimp & grits off the break when I go to any restaurant. And they didn't disappoint. Everything about this dish was amazing. MUST ORDER !! .. I also ordered the buffalo wings and the shrimp Mac and cheese. My wings were pretty cool. I had to add some extra sauce to them so they could hit as I wanted. I ordered some to go as well, and those weren't cooked to satisfaction. Overcook and too dry. Don't know if it was because I ate them the next day, or if that's on the cook. Because I've had wings that were still perfect after I put them in the microwave the next day. My shrimp Mac and cheese dish took a long time to come out. It didn't come out until I was leaving the restaurant. For some reason, it felt like I was missing something, and 2 mins later they came running out with my Mac and cheese. That's why y'all see the different backgrounds in that pictures. The dish wasn't good after reheating. So, I'm not letting that be my final judgment. When I go back, I'll speak on it after I eat it fresh. Such a beautiful place, I gotta go back and check out the different nights they have... Such as poetry and karaoke. It's like a " Bus Boys and Poets" establishment, but with waaaaaay better food. Hope you enjoy. ~ #TeamDiesel4Evaaaa

Still a good vibe. Went in for happy. Food specials weren't that great, but they had a good selection of drink specials. The place is small, so there will most likely be a wait. The are expanding their inside space and just added outdoor seating, which is a plus. The grilled wings and the cobb salad will always be a hit! One area of improvement-- the bathroom could use an upgrade. I always see the kitchen when I visit a restaurant's bathroom and it wasn't a good vibe.

I dined with this establishment for the first time yesterday and let me tell you! I was not disappointed! I got the "Over East" chicken cheese steak and my husband got Chef Ziggy's Blackened Salmon Dinner! THE FLAVOR *chefs kiss* to die for!! everything was seasoned and paired so well! I Didn't have to add a thing I could just sit and enjoy my meal! my husband is very picky about his seafood but ESPECIALLY his Salmon! let's just say he was "in love at 1st bite." He enjoyed it so much he didn't even have left overs to take home! I on the other hand had to take half of my cheesesteak home to enjoy for later. I highly recommend this establishment! Ih I can't forget the most important part of this review! THE PASTRIES ARE BACK! it's been at least a year since they've had a baker and let me tell you who they have in there now is amazing! make sure you pop in and try some of the carrot & lemon cake it's so rich and moist and it's the best bite because it's not too sweet, the perfect way to end a meal! oh and they have caramel popcorn too that is really is melt in your mouth perfection as well!
